Episode Transcription

Gregory Ringler: [00:00:00] Today in MJ bulls, we are joined by Gregory Ringler, the CEO of oval wellness, Gregory.

Welcome to the.

Dan Humiston: Hey Dan. Thanks for having me.

Gregory Ringler: My pleasure. I appreciate you dropping by today. I think that all of our listeners know. Most about two most popular cannabis, composts, THC and CBD there's there's so much more, there's so much more than I thought maybe to get things started. You could explain to us about the cameras that we don't hear about as frequently, and maybe talk about some of their benefits.

Dan Humiston: Yeah, I would love to. Absolutely. Yeah. So, THC and CBD, right? Everybody knows about them. . Well, , there's 150 other cannabinoids in the plant. And, between the majority of the states that do analytical testing, the average tested, or, between 20, 25 of those hundred and 50 cannabinoids.

So we're really early on in discovering what those cannabinoids can offer on a [00:01:00] medicinal and on a health level. And, we're uncovering new cannabinoids and we're looking to other countries that are a little bit ahead of the United States as far as clinical and analytical testing.

So yeah, we're, we're really excited to be able to offer some rare cannabinoids.

Gregory Ringler: Yeah, it's very exciting. And it's not just , the one cannabinoid that always works at sometimes. It's a combination , of the different cannabinoids that. Creating an effect with somebody. And I know that that's something that you guys in many ways. Perfected. Let's talk about a , how that works.

Dan Humiston: The common buzzword is entourage. And that's what happens when you're consuming either the whole plant, like in flower form, like most cannabis consumers are experiencing or a whole or broad spectrum of cannabinoids in an extract form.

So you hear the common CBD products. A lot of them on the market are isolate, which just means the isolated compound itself just CBD. [00:02:00] Well, what happens when you just take CBD? Is it takes a while for your body to get. Take it in, and then over time, it trails off on this bell-shaped curve. So you get effectiveness over time and then it starts to trail off well with a whole spectrum or broad spectrum extract, which although is thrilled to be offering a whole spectrum extract.

It allows the body and the endocannabinoid system to intake, basically to absorb those molecules and put them in. And between the turpines other final compounds, there are so many other great things in the plant itself that I think are overlooked. And yeah, , cannabinoids are definitely a buzzword and very important to talk about, but the plant itself deserves to have all of those compounds in it, rather than just the.

Gregory Ringler: Yeah. And especially when you're comes to like you talk to people and for the longest time it was how much THC is in the is in this, how much THC, how much, and there's so much more , they're missing the whole point. I think in [00:03:00] so many levels, there's a. ingredient or a compound that you've really identified the organic variant oil, which I said to you, this was before we got on, I had a hard time finding any information about this on the internet.

And you guys are really, it was one of the only places that I could find anything on this. I'm sure for our listeners, it's one of the first times they're hearing about this. Can you just give us a brief overview of what it is.

Dan Humiston: Absolutely organic Vera oil is a whole plant hemp extract. So it's a USDA certified organic hemp plant. That's been extracted using clean CO2, super simple process. And our consumer product is just a little 50 milligram, soft gel, super easy to understand, super easy to swallow. Now what's special about organic Veron oil is it contains two of the most powerful and in my opinion, The best cannabinoids out.

T H C V and CBD V. And the V is where we get there. And V [00:04:00] a R I N. So what's really cool about THCV is it's an antagonist to the CB one receptor, meaning it does help. Body absorb the other cannabinoids and it is highly effective. And it's very quick to work in the system.

Like we mentioned earlier with CBD isolate, it can take a long time if ever to feel an effect from an isolated compound, but with THCV, it goes to work right away and thanks to our partners at ECS health. We were able to run multiple clinical studies at the Mayo clinic in Arizona.

And the outcome of the latest safety toxicity study is, I mean, beyond noteworthy it's, it's really incredible. With the expectations of studying the safety and being able to look at a few of what we're calling our top four use cases. Between mind, body relief and sleep and track an incredible amount of data.

Over a 90 day study, [00:05:00] 125 participants out of the hundred and 25 participants. 50 we're taking one of our soft gels per day. Another 50. We're taking two soft gels a day and the others were on a vitamin C placebo. So it was a controlled study. And. We had a hundred percent success rate on subjects that were taking over.

So it's hard to believe, but we're super transparent on all the data. It's all on our website@triovo.com. We're super happy to really back up the data with the clinical protocol, whatever you need, feel free to ask, but to kind of run through each section, I'm happy to. Spend some more time on this and really dive into to each category.

But some of the biggest highlights we're seeing up to 85% reduction of anxiety. Most of our OVO consumers that are currently buying our product are noticing those effects right away. Within the first few days.

of taking the soft gel they're [00:06:00] reporting back like, Hey, I feel. And that is so rewarding,

another point in the study was body fat loss. So the majority of the subjects had some body fat to lose. , so take note of that, but we saw quite a significant reduction in appetite and desire for sugary foods and out of the participants taking over daily, the minimum weight loss we saw was five pounds and the maximum was 22 pounds in 90 days.

Gregory Ringler: 90 days.

Dan Humiston: And part of the safety toxicity study, Dan, they had to agree to not change their diet and exercise other than what naturally happened. If their appetites happened to be curved by taking this product, but they're not running off to the gym every day, throwing kettlebells around, they're taking this product and sticking with their routine as part of the safety toxicity study, kind of.

that's something that's really incredible. , we're thrilled to see that, but there's still just so much more relief, is a big [00:07:00] category. , we saw inflammation reduced up to 4,200. And one fact even crazier than that was a 92% efficacy in reducing inflammation. And so that is just a significant reduction across all five major inflammatory markers. And then the last one is sleep. Something we were really excited about as well as, as we all know that we need more sleep, sleep is a superpower. If you've got better sleep, you can conquer the day. That day turns into week, week, month, years, you just feel better, right?

And I think that's overlooked and between our Instagram, our blue light on our screens, , all the distractions in the world today, which there are plenty of, we still need to get that sleep. And we saw a 50% increase in REM after only two weeks of taking over, we saw 60% decrease of nighttime wakefulness, and that was after only four weeks.

[00:08:00] Granted this was a 90 day study, but these data points where we're so fast acting. And then a hundred percent of participants taking over reported a hundred percent reduction in restlessness. Now some of these were taken right off the Fitbit data. The others were some subjective questionnaires that our clinicians and our partners developed.

And then on the pain side of things, we also use Kaiser Permanente's standard questionnaire. So everything was very dialed in when it comes to the study. But Yeah.

those are just a few of the many highlights.

Gregory Ringler: I'm thinking about that the REM sleep is it's funny because I have a whoop strap and I'm looking at every morning, I look at my results, , and there's been like, it was like a week straight that I had zero time and REM. And I was like, what is, what am I doing wrong? , it's weird.

Like, I felt like I had a good night's sleep, but I had zero hours, zero minutes in REM sleep for like six or seven days straight. I was like, it could be something as simple as my body. is out of balance [00:09:00] and I have to do something to get my myself back into balance. And it shows up , in the REM sleep and I made a soft gel.

What's easier than that. You get up for breakfast, you have some vitamins, , you have a soft gel. , it's not a vape. It's not as some sugary gummy. Or a tincture that you have to put under your tongue. The world is used to taking soft gels.

So that fits right into our routine, which is pretty straight forward. Let me just jump ahead here. You, we talked about reduction of these are like the side effects reduction of inflammation, better sleep, less anxiety, and oh, by the way, weight loss. I mean, those are pretty good. To side effects of any type of supplement or vitamin.

You need to get the word out to everybody on this, to do that. Will you be raising money in the near future to help you get this product out to the masses?

Dan Humiston: Yes, we absolutely need to get the word out. It's it's too good , to keep a secret any [00:10:00] longer, we are raising capital. We'd be thrilled to open up any organic conversations, cause you never know where those could land, whether it's just another net. , or direct investment, but we are raising so feel free to reach out.

And, as far as the other kind of benefits outside of just that hard data that. Myself, I find a lot of focus throughout the day. I find it to be super beneficial, taking it before my workout. I know I kind of already mentioned the workout routine I take two in the morning.

I'm a big guy. I think my body's primed for as many cannabinoids as I can take, but I. an end to that routine, just like you mentioned, and, and stay consistent with it. And you'll see, great effects. I feel focused. I drive harder at the gym. I recover faster. The carrier agent in our soft gel is actually an omega six it's it's enriched with golden hemp seed oil, which is rich in omega.

Citrus is a blood oxygen transporter. So it helps in bioavailability also helps in kind of that recovery phase as well. Like when working [00:11:00] out or strenuous activities.

Gregory Ringler: And these are the side effects. These are the side effects. Well, we're going to have links to oval as wellness information in the show notes. So if anybody's interested in talking to Gregory Moore, Possibly investing or even more about the product, I'm sure he'd be happy to, to I'm also, I, I don't want to forget this very generously.

He is offered anybody. That's listening to this show at 18% off their first order of 30 count daily, 50 milligrams, soft gels, which is super nice. All you have to do is just stand in MJ, bulls 18. As a discount code and you get 18% off your first order. So it's a really good way to try this out and get more sleep and, get more focused.

You don't have to take any other medicine. You can just get more focus in the gym, Gregory. Thanks again for being on the show. Great meeting you today, and I appreciate you being on.

Dan Humiston: It's absolutely my pleasure, Dan, thank you so much for having me.
